Why Key Largo?

Because stories travel.
Key Largo sits at a fascinating crossroads,  between the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the wider Americas.
For generations, these waters have carried explorers, travelers, immigrants, artists, writers, and dreamers across borders.
Fintastic Tales brings that spirit of movement and cultural exchange into the world of comics and graphic storytelling.
Here, stories don't simply stay on the page. They travel from one culture to another, and sometimes become something entirely new along the way.

Beyond 2028

From Key Largo
To The World

Growing Fintastic Tales into an international platform for graphic storytelling and cultural exchange

Fintastic Tales begins in Key Largo
The northernmost island of the Florida Keys is more than our setting.
It is our starting point, a place where the United States meets the Caribbean, where stories have crossed the water for generations, and where the landscape itself has inspired writers, artists, filmmakers, and adventurers.

Our festival grows from a genuine connection to the Florida Keys community, while looking outward to artists, authors, publishers, and storytellers around the world.

Rooted in Key Largo

A key local venue collaborating to debut our festival and solidify our deep roots within the unique Florida Keys community.

Every graphic story begins somewhere.
A sketch.
A character.
A page.
An idea.
Fintastic Tales is still writing its first chapter. Bringing together artists, authors, readers, publishers, and audiences as we build a new destination for comics and graphic storytelling in the Florida Keys.

And this is only the beginning.
